Making dinner and cupcakes for dad!

Silas is very into helping me cook. He slept through the pasta making, so he wanted to help with the cupcakes. He loves to put the sprinkles on and eat them (of course!). As you can see, he was very proud of the finished product. We made one of Chris' favorite, chicken and noodles.

Trip to Pullman

Silas looked very cute in his cougar clothing. We were not the only one's that thought so, some people in the bookie wanted to take their picture with him. It was funny!

We went to Pullman for Chris' work. We had a good time. The bears were out, which was fun to see them up close.
We found the best park for Si's age in Pullman. We stayed and played for quite awhile before the car ride home.

Si enjoying his toast and jam.

Si has so many funny expressions. He is at such a fun and playful age. I love it!!

Hanging out!

It's offical!

Chris has been accepted to both UW and to the D.O.T. fellowship program. We will be moving over to Seattle for nine months while he gets his master's degree. Sept.-June. We are very excited to do something different for awhile. It's hard to pass up such a great offer. Chris' work is paying his full salary, tuition, and books, and he will not have to work, only attend school. We will have a lot of family time in Seattle, since school is only 15 hours a week. What a huge blessing!

Our trip to portland.

We went to Portland this weekend to visit once more before they move to Sacramento. It was such a nice trip. We will miss having them close, but luckily Sacramento is not to far. We plan on going to visit them this August.

We went to Chuck E Cheeses while we were there.

Julia let me do her hair in pigtails. Such cute kids. Silas loves to play with his cousins. Jeremy is so great with the little kids, and they all had fun playing togehter.

The guys went golfing and my mom, Suz, Julia, Si and I went to the Portland zoo. We had never been before. The picture below is Si sitting next to the sleeping cougar. It is hard to see through the glass, but he really wanted to show his dad the picture of the cougar. Chris has him well trained.

The zoo train was a huge hit with the kids.

We went to I-hop in Yakima for "whocakes" We went to the movie Horton hears a who last week, and since then he sees the commercial for these pancakes and gets very excited, so we took him for breakfast, and he of course loved them!

Mission Ridge.

Chris' new ski's arrived, so we went up to the ridge. It was a beautiful, sunny day. It is so nice to live so close to such a great ski resort.

Some last winter fun!

We went to the dummy downhill, which was very entertaining. People build dummy's and send them down the hill and off the jump. Then they crash. Si also did some skiing.

Bowling Fun!!

We went to the cashmere bowling alley for a play date with friends. They had a ramp thing that the kids set the ball on, then they pushed it down the lane. Si really liked that. Normally, when we go bowling he gets bored after a few frames, but he wanted to go again and again at this one.

He kept talking about bowling, so we put together this bowling game we had from a few years ago that we had not put together. This is his new favorite thing to do inside.

Orlando's party

Orlando's party was at cloud 9 ice cream this year. Si had a lot of fun eating pizza and having cookie monster ice cream. He like that the older kids were paying attention to him.

Art time

Si is really enjoying our "pre-school time". We read books, learn very short Bible verses, sing and have art time. Sometimes friends join us, which Si loves!
