Packing up!

Hey, I feel like I just wrote a post with that same heading. 9 months has gone by really fast. We have enjoyed our time in Seattle. We have been blessed to do a lot of fun things and spend a lot of time together as a family, which is awesome. I think all three of us will go through withdrawls come Monday morning when the lovely alarm clock goes off, and Chris heads out to work all day!! This was a unique experience and we will always remember it as such amazing time for our little family!

Mother's day 2009.

Chris and Si got me a picture of Seattle that is just a map of the neighborhoods, which I had wanted. We visited a lot of them in the last 9 months, so it will be a fun to have it up and remember the good old days in Seattle.

Chris took Si to Fred Meyer and he decorated a cake for me all by himself. It was so cute. He was very proud that he made it.
We also went to the Sounders game on Mother's day thanks to our wonderful friends Nigel and Nicole. It was so fun to spend mother's day with them. Nigel (Noah and Daniel) and Chris (Silas) did a great job of spoiling us and making it special. The game was so fun, but Chris was very unhappy that it ended in a tie.

Making some noise. He loves soccer, so he was very into it. Now every time we play soccer he gets to be the sounders and we have to be the cougars.

Fun in Sea-town!

I love C's face in this picture. He makes everything more fun!!

Down at the water front. I put this one on because I think my hubby looks hot in it :)

My little preacher boy!

Si is very into learning, as much about the Bible, as he can. Here he is sleeping with his little Bible that he carries around with him everywhere. He was walking down the street in Seattle the other day talking very loudly about Jesus, which makes us smile, and we have had a few comments from people passing by. I pray daily that he continues to thirst for Jesus!!

My favorite Si story lately happened the other day at Fred Meyer. I put him in the cart and he buckled himself in and told me he was in jail now. I said that made me sad, and that I would never want him to be in jail. He asked why and I told him that is for bad people and I never want him to be bad. He said good people go to jail mom. I said no they don't, then he told me that Peter from the Bible was in jail....I stand corrected:) I have to say I love being his mom, he is such a blessing to us.
